Annual Servicing & Health Checks
Unexpected faults can mean cancelled appointments. Planned servicing helps identify wear and maintenance needs before they cause disruption.
A service may include visual and functional checks, manufacturer-recommended tasks, inspection of hoses, filters, seals and connections, and a service record with recommendations.
For older equipment or recurring faults, ask about an equipment health check. Service kits cover routine parts; additional repairs or a rebuild need separate assessment and quotation.
Compressor maintenance and statutory pressure-system examinations are separate. Where applicable, examination intervals follow the written scheme and competent person.
Autoclaves & Smaller Equipment
An autoclave fault can interrupt your instrument reprocessing workflow. Contact us about cycle errors, unusual behaviour, inspection support or planned maintenance.
Please provide the manufacturer, model and fault code.
For handpieces and smaller equipment, we can help identify suitable repair, parts or service routes. Options depend on the model, condition and availability of parts.
Suction Cleaning & Disinfection
Daily hygiene care and professional servicing are different activities. Neither replaces the other.
Orotol plus: for compatible Dürr systems, daily disinfection and removal of organic contamination, following approved dilution and contact time.
MD 555 cleaner: removes inorganic deposits such as limescale and prophy powder. Dürr recommends intensive cleaning at least twice weekly for relevant systems; follow your equipment instructions and workload.
Never mix cleaning chemicals. Use compatible products and follow the instructions for every stage.
Dental Compressor Repairs
Air pressure dropping? Compressor running longer than usual?
Contact us about pressure loss, dryer or filtration faults, vibration, unusual noise, condensate drainage or suspected air leaks.
Planned maintenance can include checks of filters, air dryers, connections and operating performance, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
Routine maintenance is separate from a statutory pressure-system examination.
Dental X-Ray & CBCT Support
Contact us about maintenance enquiries for intraoral X-ray units, CBCT systems, controls, mechanical positioning and associated digital imaging problems.
Tell us which equipment is affected and describe the fault or error message.
Electrical servicing, radiation-safety testing and critical examination are separate requirements where applicable. We can discuss the appropriate next step for your equipment.
Dürr VSA 300 S: Impeller Wear
The VSA 300 S combines suction and separation. After years of use, mechanical components may show wear.
Unusual noise, increasing vibration, reduced suction, contamination, damage or repeated mechanical problems justify assessment.
The turbine wheel or impeller is not automatically replaced at every annual service. An engineer should assess its condition before recommending cleaning, investigation, repair or replacement.
Any additional component replacement should be explained and quoted separately where needed.

Dental Suction Pump Repairs
Weak suction, unusual noise or repeated interruptions?
Possible causes include blocked filters, deposits, pipework restrictions, air leaks and mechanical wear. An apparent pump failure can originate elsewhere in the system.
We support enquiries for wet, dry and semi-wet systems, including equipment with amalgam separation. We aim to identify the cause before recommending replacement parts.

Why is my dental suction weak?
Deposits, blocked filters, air leaks or wear may be responsible. Assessment identifies the cause.
Is impeller replacement included in an annual service?
Not automatically. Additional mechanical repairs need a condition assessment.
Do I need Orotol and MD 555?
For compatible Dürr systems, they serve different purposes: daily disinfection and removal of inorganic deposits. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
